A year from now I will already be in London. It seems so surreal. Less and less I have doubts about actually going. I've gotten to the point where I tell people "I'm going to London next year" leaving out any of the possiblys or hopefullys. The only hindrance, as always, is the dollar or the POUND (oh yea! even that is exciting). Of which I have 7000 american dollars to save; roughly. This of course is impossible working a minimum wage job as a Barista (though I prefer Ninjarista), but fortunately I don't have to raise it all because at some point God is going to step in and money is going to, proverbially, fall from the sky. (I think if money actually did fall from the sky all hell would break loose and I wouldn't get a dime; damn greedy urchins!)
But of the dollar, I have: 2265/7000. Nearly half the cost of tuition.
Fortunately, there is still my work as the Meckenstock Slave Boy, Graduation presents, and a Spring Tax Return to give me extra boosts. Until then I will dilligently make coffee and warm scones. Mmmmm . . . scones.
Luv,
Clay
