Officialness:

I found out last night that my diploma is in KC. It has been since January. I've been questioning since December whether I've actually graduated or not. My questions, of course, were aroused by my not hearing anything about the matter from the school. You would think that there would be some effort on behalf of those Sheridan Hall workers to notify people of their graduate or non graduate status.

Overall, I would say that I have been less than satisfied with the assistance I have recieved at FHSU. Honestly, I doubt that my advisor even knows or cares who I am. Granted, I have a degree in General Studies, and there are surely plenty of those, but in the grand scheme shouldn't there be some form of graduate alert system.

What if I were missing a credit? Or a class didn't count? Would I ever have been informed of this? Or would I have been left to wonder for a couple more months if I had actually fulfilled all the requirements for leaving the edumatory system?

I would guess the latter. I mean, honestly, I never even recieved one of the ugly gold cards informing me that my degree summary was complete. Hell, it took me two years to even figure out that degree summaries even existed!
