Shopping at the J.C.P.:

Well, look here, another day. Which of course means another day for me to torture you all with self-centered stories (Gen was right, blogging makes you a Narc-).

Today's tale begins last night. After recently selling a few unwanted textbooks (mainly astronomy, Kayvan is the worst teacher ever!), I had a few extra lira with no home. So as every other self-serving person in America I went and blew it all on clothes: 2 shirts, 2 pants. One of the shirts is a novelty shirt from Napoleon Dynamite; it has a llama and says at the bottom: "Hey Tina you fat lard. Get some dinner." (makes me laugh!) Then I finally found the pair of jeans I've been looking for for two years now (it's rediculous, I know, but i refuse to pay full price at Levis.com), low cut, boot jeans from Levi's and not with the infernal relaxed thigh (burn in hell demon pants!).

Which you would think would be the highlight of all, but no. Next I purchased underwear from the Wal-Mart (it was on sale, praise God . . . Men's underwear is freaking expensive!) and to help me purchase said underwear were three others: Jerome, Eric, and some girl who calls all underwear panties. Which this shouldn't have been strange/awkward, right, well things are different when your friend "bats for the Royals." Conversation of course began as usual, in the sock section, about Art and whatnot. By the time we were finished in the underwear section we had covered such topics as . . . Eric's Cute Thong, The "Match Test", In Class Boxer/Briefs Question, and My New "Panties" (Which I was advised to wear the green ones). I also plugged One.org (I am now a muffin films/ one evangelist, now if only I could get the God-thing hashed out I'd be good!). Jerome just kind of stood there (oh sure he said some stuff . . . added only because he's standing over my shoulder).

Oh Wal-Mart you devil.
