What a joyful world we live in.
So I usually complain about how I want to listen to guitar music and drink coffee, but today I just want to drive out to the woods and vent to the sky (God would surely intercept). Unfortunately, I can't. I know where I want to go: Camp Naish. It was where I went for Cub Scout Day Camp and various camping trips during my "tender" years. A quiet place of serenity and woodland where you are cut off from the world . . . typically. If only I had the freedom to go (I, of course, blame automobile companies for my current deficiency. . . blast you Ford and your bloody assembly lines!).
Venting of course is necessary due to the previously mentioned God and my inability to get past that ever so inate tendency towards the "not-so-kosher."
So cheers for freedom and perfection; more cheers for those who possess them.

oh the joys of scouts. I got a tick at girl scout camp. . . I'm not too fond of Camp Hansen now
Sometimes shouting to heaven and shaking your fists at the sky are the only thing you can do. Unfortunately it's still the same day, usually, and the scenery hasn't changed. However, I imagine it's good for the soul.
"Shout. Shout. Let it all out... these are the things I can do without. Come on. I'm talkin' to you... come on." Oh Tears for Fears. So true.
perfection is highly overrated. and worse, it stifles creativity. and you "cheer" to that? oooh, my friend, that's where you need to have another thought.
I usually avoid watching the news, and all it's darkness. I agree that perfection isn't something to cheer about- it isn't possible, so why make yourself crazy trying to achieve it.
Also, just for the record, I don't think of you as a child or a ministry project.
How much longer are you going to be in KC? I could provide some transportation if you need some sky-yelling time...
