Today is Passover, for the semitically uneducated or even the uneducated Christian. Three Days before The Feast of First Fruits, more commonly known as Easter . . . named after the pagan goddess Asherah, which was the day Jesus rose up from the dead.
Its a day to celebrate what Jesus did on the Cross. And I'm not one to pass up on celebration, though I've been more excited about Earth Day.
So anyway, tonight is dinner. I'm making Chicken. I'm forcing the attendees, also known as "friends," to bring a side-dish. This way I don't have to do all of the dishes afterwards and people can take their own food home with them, thereby excluding any cookie binges.
I wish I had lamb. We should be eating lamb. Good thing we don't have to sacrifice anything. Though that would be reason enough to own an altar.
Sunday I'm making Macaroni Salad for the feast. Mmm . . . Huh? I should get the directions from Mother.
Luv,
Clay

We totally had a Jewish Passover feast today. I never had done that...it was kind a cool. We did have lamb however, which on Passover, big no-no! Oops...good thing I'm not Jewish. It was pretty sweet though, conncected between OT and NT. Oh, and being thankful again for God's grace and mercy. Amber
