Last week I learned that the salsa competition was canceled. An action that forced to me utter a nasty "blargh" sound. But, which soon lead to a sigh of relief.
Relief at the financial burden of buying black pants and a purple shirt. Which wouldn't be bad if I hadn't just bought a city on a small island off the coast of mainland Europe. Hoorah for depleted bank accounts.
So salsa has been cancelled, but my new hip-hop dancing is just starting. I'm dancing with three little kids and its great. This one all started because a friend of mine teaches dance and asked me if I would help with her boys. I delightedly said yes.
Its funny though because I'm twice the height of everyone else in the group and we're going to be dancing in front of a whole slew of people on the 29th of April. Oh, dear; what have I gotten myself into.

everyone come, everyone come!!! 2 of the boys performed the dance for me the other day and they were GOOD- I was honestly impressed! You guys are going to rock... you should still come to salsa on Mondays when you can- because I go now and it would be fun to dance with my hip-hop friend! I think we are going to have a spanish fiesta @ frontier park... w/ dancing, latin musica and alcohol. fun
