Oh yeah. This my friends is my 100th blog. I should be recieving some sort of prize from Blogger.com for being such a faithful and persistent blogger! They should send me a Blogger T-shirt so I don't have to buy one myself. Which oddly enough I want too.
Rabbit Trail: I hate random shirts, IE: Mission Beach surf shop shirts from Old Navy. $5 yes, but random and pointless. If I had a story behind it other than "it was $5 and I hate random t's" maybe I would wear it more, but sadly no. So I want a Blogger T, because it is something connected to me.
I am now, officially, a professional artist (well you can call me that, I'm not really) because, yours truly, got a BLUE RIBBON from the Wyandotte County Fair for one of my paintings. I'm awesome (actually I see this as a minor victory as it was only a fair and from the look of it there wasn't any competition. The whole af-fair reminds me of a poetry contest I swept up prizes at. Fortunately, I'm such a fantabulous poet that no one, even Ms. Gennifer Meckenstock MA Poetry, could stand against my poetic fury. And now I can add art to my list of victories.) I'm not sure which painting won. This has been word of mouth thus far, but tonight I know for sure and will post a picture.
I googled myself yesterday. That, sadly, is how I found out that I was on the Dean's Honor Roll Spring '04. Shouldn't they inform you of these things?! Anyway, I then, in my boredom, perused random blogs and found this guy who also used to play for the "Royals" before trading to the "Red Socks." I hope to get to know him better. Hoorah for blogging.
Peace and Fishsticks,
Clay
