Ah'm Preggers:

That is if you consider seed and water, egg and sperm and my tender loving care as the nine months of carrying. But all of it is beginning to pay off and my first tomato is sprouting . . . I'm excited. Unfortunately you cannot name a tomato who will be consumed the minute it is ripe, but some things are better left unattached.

It almost feels like I'm going to London in a few months. There are moments where I'm incredibly pumped about it and all I can think about is going, or I'm going to be there soon. Even hearing the news about the bombings makes me want to go . . . it will all clear over by the time I get there, so no worries.

The sad part is that I need a ton of money, but a happy part is that if I'm still considered a student I can purchase cheap tickets. Cheap having a $593.19 base price for a round trip. But that is buying the tickets through studentuniverse.com (thanks Meghan) and in order to qualify you have to be a student. Fortunately, at least I'm hoping, is that at FHSU you are considered a student for th entire year: fall through summer. If so I would be able to purchase my tickets next spring at the discounted rate, but if not I have to pay the $718.00 or $1,225.83 bases from American Airlines and British Airways.

Grrh. Hopefully I am still considered a student. If not then I fall back on plan A: God, bing all powerful, will provide. I imagine He would throw some mildly rich or even not quite poor person into the scene who has an abundance of frequent flyer miles to give away. Let us hope. Knowing God it will probably be more nerve wracking than that.

We'll see.

Luv,
Clay
