Homo Lapin:

In the year 2XX multiplied by 6 to the power of 5 times pie (not Pi as the mathematical pie, but pie as in pastry) rabbits had taken over the earth. Well at least America . . . there were various uprisings from different species. I say rule, but it was more like mass genocide of man leading to the emperor-ship of Emperor Neo Philbert III (who subsequently rules the world).

What had happened was this: product testing. A start anyway. Scientists in nothern Alabama were experimenting with various eye drops and shampoos, but in southern Alabama they were teaching them to understand. This was a bad idea. What the rabbits came to understand was that man was dumb. (More so they learned the importance of opposable thumbs and made haste to adapt some form there of) Man, being dumb, it was felt, by the majority, needed extermination. The rabbits could therefore live at complete peace in their Rabbitopia.

This of course didn't so much work because of the frogs. Derrogatory? No, by this time France had indeed been taken over by frogs . . . something about having their legs sawed off and eaten didn't sit well with them. But none the less, with the excpetion of France, rabbits dominated.

However, not all men were destroyed. Somewhere in the depths of Louisianna a small congregation of Southern Baptists survived and in a remote Kansas town there are two individuals. One male. One female. Unfortunately as we know Southern Baptists could never get things together and a small argument over paedo-baptism led to the annihilation of the whole lot. Which leaves us with two humans in a remote Kansas town.

A remote Kansas devoid of anything but a dilapidated Wal-Mart and the last two homo sapiens in existence.
