I begin this morning on what was to be a happy note, but turned sour as I noticed a slight change in the quantity of live lizards my home boasted. I'm sad to report that my (that is MY) lizard died. So if we can have a brief moment of silence for the deceased . . . You'll notice in the picture she is the one on the left. I never named her (oh the shame). So I will do that now, her name will be Wilda Mae Belafonte. You're with Lizard Jesus now.
Ok. Shifting gears.
I'm currently in Kansas City. To most it is the land of Chipotle, Starbucks, and Panera Bread (ok that's just me . . . mmm, so good), but it is also where I spent the first 18 years of my life (that is before college, but we're not so certain about wether there were giraffes or not at this point in history). So it is here that I return on rare and sporadic occaisions (the occurence of my visiting is low due to my lack of motor vehicle acquisition) to be with the family and the friends (who dearly love me inspite of the fact I never write or call . . . I'm not so good at that).
What is in store? Star Wars, Starbucks, Weddings, Computer style Risk, Digi the Digital Camera, Quest for the Hitchhiker's Guide, Chipotle, Panera Bread, at least one pointless mall trip, dead lizards, baby Alanah, a second story bedroom, no AC, banana bread (mom doesn't know that one yet!), and Fluffy the Squirrel (we became friends over Christmas).
Luv,
Clay
(And also I would like to thank Elizabeth for the ego-fuel.)
